Cook Out - Charlotte

Delicious food, had to come back for seconds. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely over here to eat a bite.

There was almost a shooting when a guy with a gun stood on the walk-in window and fought with the staff to get the manager out. Security was useless and let the crazy guy go in with the gun! Supposedly he new the woman who worked there and wanted her to come out, but she LET HIM GO INSIDE! And keep fighting there! No cops were called and the shame lasted almost 30 minutes! Why the hell would Security make a guy scream at the staff and hold a gun, go INSIDE! we were in line for almost 40mins! We were caught, there was no way to get out of line and we were still standing. I and my girlfriend often go to cooking, but never go near this place ever. Sad. The lady in the window was sweet and recognized the problem and apologized. The food was still typical cooking (can not go wrong), but the experience was terrible.

Tonight. The line moved a little slow, but they said they were short employees so that?s completely understandable! The food was hot! The nuggets were burned, but unlike that it was good?

I would give them honest 0 stars if I could have it taken me 30-40 minutes in the window to take my order, then my drink was just carbonic acid... So ask for a new one and took 20 minutes to get one and as cashier tried to give me my food, it was dropped on the floor manager it took back into the window and took it back and they sank my food in fat and it was soggy.... I had a 28.00 order that nobody wanted to eat there, so I was wasting my money and we threw it away....

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich tray and the chicken is UNCOOKED RAW CHICKEN IN THE MIDDLE. I?m extremely disturbed and nauseous? Do not visit this location if you don?t want to get sick. UPDATE Called cookout corporate and they were unapologetic and gave me one coupon for a free tray????. They really value their customers
