Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Meridian Place

We loved the chicken sandwich with delicious waffles. Friendly waiting staff. We also ordered a calzone. It looked great, but it lacked any special taste or spices. It was very bland. The next time, I'll go back to order her lasagna, because it's not disappointed. ?

Hawthorne? Meridian place used to be one of my favorite places to eat AUTHENTIC NY PIZZA. As a native New Yorker, I know good pizza when I see it and taste it. I noticed lately that it pizza size has shrunk enormous!!! It doesn't taste as good as it used to!! I have a real problem when I see merchants benefit from people by fooling them. If you shrink your portion sizes, but charging the same and/or more that is not cool! Will never eat here again and will spread the word! Don't waste your money!!

The chicken parm hero and meatball parm hero were really sad. Small sauce, small cheese, overcooked chicken, processed meatballs. Don't fill the bread, little portions. Very disappointing. Wouldn't go back.

I guess I tried the wrong day for the first time. My lady is crazy about the pizza and has it several times with zero complaints. Today was not the case for her veggie pizza. The dough was hard to get through and it was just what I expected from the meat eater cake. I think I'll try again if the day shift works if I don't feel like driving to Marco 's.

Really disappointed! Came on a Friday evening with the family, there was a small group at the bar and 2 outside on the patio when we arrived. The host was kind and seated us upon arrival, we waited 10 to 15 to be offered drinks. At this point we were the only group on the patio. 30 minutes after ordering our drinks we decided to leave, no one came to check on us and we were never brought out our drinks. I would have somewhat understand if they were busy but they were Practically empty. I can only imagine if it was rush hour.
