Hibachi Express - Charlotte

The food was excellent. The egg rolls were fantastic, with a good filling rather than just being mostly cabbage like at some places. The lunch portions are a bit smaller, but there's still enough food to satisfy. The teriyaki chicken was delicious, and the fried dumplings were among the best I’ve ever had. However, the shrimp sauce was rather thin and had an unusual pink hue reminiscent of what you might find at a Chinese buffet, so I can only give it four stars. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of go-to lunch spots.

Ordered from grubhub and it came quickly. But most importantly it was absolutely delicious! The portions were good plenty of everything etc. I had started to get a bit worried after reading the negative google reviews but all I can say is dont knock it til you try it. Idk what ya'll city slickers expect out of a hibachi place but I was supremely sassified.

The food was tasty, though slightly dry, and the restaurant was quite hot. The portion sizes were decent for the price. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and I would consider dining here again. It's not my top choice, but I would definitely return.

I don't quite understand all the one-star reviews this place has received. I have always enjoyed great food here, the prices are reasonable, and with a bit of patience, any misunderstandings can be resolved. The staff are friendly, and it's nice to see their child helping out and doing homework in the store – it shows a strong work ethic. I think the poor spelling and grammar in many of the one-star reviews reflect the type of people leaving them.
