I have never been in an Asian kitchen that had amazing food, great service and is very clean to cutlery. that was amazing and it was so fresh. quality is everything and they have everything. I am back! jushun the chef cook always makes a great job! the food was great! fannie lurk both were a great help and keep rocking many thanks for their team
We are regularly here for years and even ordered a tonne at the beginning of the pandemic to protect them and have always loved them. great food, good prices. but after today we will never be back. After we picked up our food, we came home to find that the dishes of the four were missing in our order. So we drove back to get our food and were met with such a terrible customer service to get our missing items. we also asked for an egg roll (that we did not give up the order), and then we were shaken for the $1.25 to get it. after an hour (30 min round trip x2) we spent more than $1.25 on the gas to get our missing items. the cleanliness also really went down hills. we were in person 2 weeks ago and the floors were so sticky that my shoes almost went out. we have not said anything because we could say that they were underoccupied (like most places at the moment), but that coupled with the extremely rude service and the shaker for $1 that we are finished.
I've been eating at this place for over 10 years and unfortunately not anymore. I order the same dish, sesame tofu extra spicy, brown rice, early roll and with the sauce on the side instead of on my tofu. ok, no big thing right. Now, now the “new” manager (at least that she told me, my first time she see) tells me that there is an additional $1.50 I tell her, I don’t want to pay extra just on the side, b50. I said I came yesterday and day b4 and last week and last year and no problem. she says that the personal is new and they don't know. Now they have already increased the midday prices by $2 and now they want $1.50 more to put my sauce on the side. ok I will mine in average $50 per week I spend here and a facility that faithful customers appreciate and not try nickel and dime. red bowl get it together and get a different manager. she will definitely have them lose customers like me!
Our family has patronized Red Bowl Charlotte for years. I will be honest. The food is very good. Not a bad meal there. We will not dine in because the floors are very sticky and that means bad cleaning. We got takeout on a Wednesday and I drove 15 minutes (one way) to pick it up. I sat at the bar and I received the bag with our order. My fault I did not check the bag. I got home and found 4 items missing from the order. I drove back up another 15 minutes and they had the bag waiting. The manager said I left it on the bar, which was a lie. They had missed a 1.25 item from the order and I asked for them to supply it at no charge since I had to spend the gas to travel twice!! The manager said no and turned her back to me. I asked her for her name so I could call her out on this, and she refused. I hope the owner of this establishment will review this. Really, A $1.25 egg roll is the reason a family that spends $300.00/year at this restaurant will never go there again. It is a matter of principle. There are plenty of other Asian food choices in the area. So sad.
