And the kitchen staff as well..Breakfast on the other hand….was awful!! The eggs didn’t taste like eggs! Unfortunately there wasn’t any sugar-free syrup for the pancakes, and the bananas ? where black and rotten. The room that we at least stayed in.. the filter did seemed like it might needed changing.Other than that! Great stay.
Beware, they double charge you for parking. I stayed in this hotel on Oct 15-17, 2023. Got charged $40 for valet parking and $29 for long term parking on both nights. I parked myself. I never used valet parking! Called the hotel for a refund, but they can't issue it without the manager's approval. The manager is never in the office. I am leaving my messages with the front desk for two weeks now. Today I spoke to Anna who promised to give my message to the manager. I feel I need to escalate this to an executive level of Marriott. Very frustrated.
Stayed here for a concert. Location cannot be beat, and with proximity to the Spectrum Center and the train, the noise protection is next level. We were next to the front desk and heard NOTHING. Would easily stay here again. Service was great. Location was great. The elevators and TV were slightly haunted. But what isn’t haunted in a hotel?
It was a rough start but good ending. The rough start was related to finding the parking garage and a parking spot. The valet person gave us the wrong directions. Follow your GPS. When you turn into the front of the AC hotel go past the doors and turn Right into the garage. Follow the signs to Floor P4. You will get a ticket stub when you enter level P4. Drive around until you see a glass door with what looks like a red carpet entrance. That's the Residence Inn hotel.Park your car anywhere you like and take your parking ticket into the hotel with you. They will exchange the ticket with a real ticket so you can enter and exit the parking lot anytime.Go tonthe glass door and Ring the doorbell. You will hear something when the door opens. Take the Elevator to the 14th floor to the lobby. Now the journey gets better after check-in. The rooms are Amazing!!! Full kitchen, walk in shower, sofa, bed near a full length window. It's wonderful. At first I said I would never stay there again due to the rough start but the rooms are Def worth it. I would stay here again in the future. It's super close to the convention center and we had no problems getting an Uber.
Upon arrival, parking situation was confusing when told to go to the fourth floor, it is on the bottom and not on the top. Upon check in, I was not greeted but just asked for my ID and payment as usually I am at least greeted kindly thanking me for being an Marriott member. The location was great and easy to walk to the Spectrum Center. Breakfast was awful and we had a 15+ minute wait multiple times to get to our room due others who were going to the rooftop bar as I was attempting to go to my room even though there was multiple elevators. The room was spacious with an incredible view but when taking off a towel from the hook, I noticed on the back of the towel there was a large makeup stain that was hidden and I would not have noticed if I did not take the towel off of the hook. I recommend this hotel for couples who plan on going out for breakfast the following morning and just want to be near the Spectrum Center and don't mind the elevators constantly smelling like booze and drugs.
