Sister - Charlotte

I remember when this place began when kiki, the whole experience was great every time when I visited (less there 3 times.) after a few months without going there, I decided to visit a last night (saturday, 30. april) and the whole experience was so mediocre, from the rude hostess, the wrong orders over and above and the courtless and the courtless were so bland. the only element that we really liked were the blacks that were so amazing, but the bare-steered evich was not prepared as a ceviche should be prepared, plus it was just so blanching. the broccoli salad was too sweet and it looked honest and felt like baked brokkoli. the waiting time for my drinks and dishes was too long and if we were finally getting our appetizers, we would have to wait another long time to get just something cute and cut-offs. we finally gave up and decided not to order our main courses, neither to finish our bottle wein and only ask for the check, and to our surprise, we had to wait another long time to leave, first because the server took long to bring the leak and second, because we had to wait for items that we did not order, so we had to wait longer to correct the leak. never back.

I always feel like I want to be taken care of when I go to this restaurant with my sister in the city. The restaurant offers delicious food for brunch and lunch. It is a formal bistro that I have visited several times. The restaurant is owned by the same people as Sol Gastro Lounge, which is located directly above, so I knew it had to be great. The interior is modern and elegant, and there is a secret speakeasy room to check out. The customer service is always amazing every time I visit for brunch or lunch. The French toast is a must-try for brunch. Some of my favorite lunch items are the olive oil fries, lamb skewer burgers, and zucchini feta fritters. If the weather is nice, they have a rooftop terrace that many people may not be aware of. I can't wait to come back and try their dinner menu.

We ordered multiple items from the menu, but they were sold out by 2 o'clock. Both my friend and I had to choose something else, and when our food finally arrived, my friend had already left. The waiter kept assuring us he hadn't forgotten about us, but by the time he came to talk to us, everything was already eaten. He then gave us a chocolate cake and mentioned that they had prepared the ceviche incorrectly and it was unavailable. Despite this, he did not offer my friend a replacement option. The only positive aspect of the meal were the fries, which is the only reason why this restaurant is receiving 2 stars.

We went to sister to celebrate my new job! The vibe was perfect We sat on the couches in the front, which elevated the experience. We enjoyed watching the hustle of Plaza Midwood and a beautiful skyline view of Charlotte. The lamb chop pops were good, but I’m not sure if they were $33 good. I’m certainly happy that I tried them, but not sure that I would get them again. Also pictured here is the Shrimp Saganaki which was friggggin amazing!

Unfortunately I can’t even review the food or drinks. I booked a reservation for tonight, and we sat for 25 minutes before flagging down a server for water. We waited a total of 55 minutes before leaving because we still didn’t have our cocktails. The server failed to acknowledge us or provide an update on the status of our drinks after walking by 5+ times. It was a standard Friday night, not overly busy, but a complete disaster. We had high hopes because we love Soul, but would certainly not recommend.
