Sushi 101 - Charlotte

I was just looking for a place to have lunch in the area when I noticed that the parking lot was full. Luckily, a spot opened up right in front of this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. I love sushi, but they also had a lunch special that caught my eye, so I ordered that instead. I sat at the sushi bar, and the sushi chef personally brought my plate to me, which I thought was really nice. He also took the time to explain the dish to me. The special was delicious and a fantastic value for the price. I will definitely be returning!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share that this is an amazing restaurant. I've tried many sushi spots, but this one is hands down the best in Charlotte. The food was incredible, and the service was exceptional. I can't remember our server's name, but she went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. I really love this place and will definitely be returning! If you're in the area, you should definitely check it out!

My 12-yr old boy was craving sushi today. He ordered the Spicy Katsu Chicken Salmon Maki. He said it’s spicy and “freaking” good! Now, he’s looking forward to his next visit!

It's a small gem.. I found this place with my sissy while going to Total Wine.. Now it's mine and my niece's favorite place for sushi. It's the Crispy Bagel, fried rice, and Cali roll for me! Update.. 09/23.. Still me hidden gem! My niece and I now go.

I've visited this restaurant several times before and usually order the "any style" broth bowl with soba noodles and chicken. The total came to $20.00 after tax and tip (with just water to drink), which seems steep for a bowl of broth that doesn't have much in the way of vegetables or meat. Like so many other places, their prices keep going up while the portion sizes shrink. Restaurants really need to make a choice: either raise prices while maintaining their portion sizes or reduce the size while increasing prices—doing both is a deal breaker for me. I've already stopped going to a few smaller chains because they’re doing just that. If they want donations, they should just ask for them. I don’t go to a restaurant to make donations.
