The Manchester 1812 - Charlotte

The food was excellent, our drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. We’ll be booking another reservation soon.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff although service was slow. Food was ok but not great.

Enjoyed a late lunch at the Manchester 1812. It was a quieter time so the bar was more lively to eat in, but more casual. Food was excellent and our waitress was attentive .

Apparently they’re going out of business soon and I’m not surprised. I get that everyone’s understaffed but when the server spends his time chatting up a couple of girls at the bar rather than getting another round of drinks for our four top (probably could have been two rounds) that’s lack of attention not lack of staff.

Our waiter basically ignored us. It took forever to get refill of water and we were ready to order for 15 minutes before he finally returned. He kept socializing at another table the restaurant was not very busy at all, he was just inattentive.
