Aberdeen Barn Steak House

This review combines two different visits to Aberdeen Barn. The prime rib here is outstanding, although I'm glad they have salt and pepper on the table, it was a little bland. The doneness was perfectly medium rare as ordered. And please, Angela, upgrade your pepper shakers to actually accommodate the coarse grind you are putting in them. Customers arent using less pepper, they just cant get much out of the shakers and dont think to remove the shaker cap to get an adequate

Great food, great staff, just off Rte. 29 north of Charlottesville; convenient to the wonderful Hampton Inn hotel. The best and leanest prime rib I've ever had. Wait staff very attentive and wonderful. Baked potato and cheesecake for dessert also great. Worth every penny. Did not care for the fried potatoes, but that's a minor side dish. Fried jumbo shrimp were bigger than any shrimp we have ever seen.

I went there for my Wedding Anniversary and it was an amazing meal. My family loved it and our waiter( who has been with the Steakhouse since around 1991) was a great man. He always was attentive and was organized in the way he did his job. A very friendly atmosphere and I would definitely come again Bravo!!!

My husband and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is super friendly and the food was amazing. The scallops and chicken were perfect. They made us feel special on our anniversary.

It?s been along time since I have had an experience at restaurant like tonight. We had Kathleen as our server and she was amazing! The prime rib was amazing. I have never seen a restaurant where people have worked there for 30 plus years. Great service, food and local owned. Thank you
