Afghan Kabob Palace - Charlottesville

I would give zero stars if I could! We tried the buffet, and the food was completely inedible. How can you ruin rice? It had a plastic taste! The chicken was flavorless, and the bread tasted like a saltine cracker. Honestly, canned spinach would have been an improvement over the spinach they served. I can't understand how this place stays in business. $16 for this?! We ended up paying and leaving without eating. Disappointing!

I enjoyed the food here immensely! I can't wait to visit again. The decorations beautifully reflect the culture of their country. The food is authentic, and I'm eager to try more dishes on the menu.

Wow! The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. We ordered takeout, and everything was prepared on time and beautifully packaged. The dinner for four is a great option if you’re uncertain about what to choose, as it includes a variety of selections. The kebabs were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The saffron rice was fluffy and served in generous portions. The dumplings were a flavor experience like no other. I can't wait to return! They also have clearly marked vegetarian options on the menu.

Decor was very nice. Salmon and chicken curry was great. The squash was delish. The saffron tea did not have much taste. We will try other teas next time.
