Bj's Brewhouse - Charlottesville

This was my first visit and I usually don't charge a place to visit. But when we arrived, we sat and after about 15 minutes was ignored, I wanted to go when a waiter came by and said he noticed that we were not helped and it was not his section, but he would be glad to take care of us. He took our job and wrote nothing at all and it was a good lot of food. Everything came as we ordered and the food was excellent. All we ordered was very good, and the waiter was also good at his work.

Nice restaurant and brewery with good food, nice staff and best they had hard apple wine on their beer menu.

I love BJ's Brewhouse. This is just as good as everyone else. The apps are great, the designs beers are so good, Burgers are really good with many options. I had almost everything on the menu last year, including all beers. I hadn't tried the spaghetti and meatballs, so I tried today, it wasn't too bad.

Server was great! I didn't get her name, but she was attentive and personal. The food was good. He wasn't busy on Sunday. Nice atmosphere.

We have been several times because the selection is so varied it's great for a big crowd. Beer and bar selections are also great. We haven't had the best of luck with service. It can be very slow, and we had kind of written it off. BUT, craving their root beer sauced chicken bites and avocado egg rolls, my daughter and I gave it another shot during lunch, and the server absolutely redeemed our faith in the place. I have a BIG regret that I didn't get his name and can only provide a vague description (young, African-American man), b/c he deserves some praise. He was SLAMMED. 5 or 6 tables were seated at once, and he didn't skip a bit. Food came out in time, he continuously checked on us. He kept an incredible attitude and not once made an excuse about being busy. I will be on the lookout the next time and request to be in his section.
