Boylan Heights - Charlottesville

We ordered a couple of build-your-own burgers, and they were fantastic—juicy with great flavor and cooked perfectly. The toppings were nice and fresh. One of my companions also tried a sandwich from the brunch menu, which was excellent. Our server was a bit stretched thin since the place was busier than anticipated, but she worked hard to ensure we were well taken care of. I will certainly return the next time I'm in town. Overall, it was a fun first visit to UVA and The Corner!

My overall experience was fantastic! We tried the Wahoo for our drinks and enjoyed burgers from Room 121. The curly fries were amazing as well. The servers were very friendly, and we appreciated that the tables were spaced apart. Opening all the walls for ventilation was a great touch too. Given the current pandemic, I highly recommend this restaurant because they are taking proactive steps to ensure the safety of their guests and the surrounding area. I also loved that hand sanitizers were conveniently placed in the middle for easy access. A big thank you to Aimee for making our experience so enjoyable!

The servers at Boylan are generally very kind and attentive, but one of the managers often treats college-aged patrons disrespectfully. She has made some unpleasant remarks...

"The bar offers tasty food and a great atmosphere. There's a spacious veranda where you can enjoy dishes like Tritcher and Mozz Sticks. Every Wednesday, they host trivia night, which is always crowded and a lot of fun. It's a fantastic place to visit, especially for Hoos. Highly recommend!"
