It was the perfect location for our group of almost 200 friends and family from close and far. We took over the entire Fry Spring Station for the evening. The General Manager, Victoria and the entire staff were wonderful to work with in advance. The food was plentiful and excellent, the bar delivered everything we demanded, and the ambience was perfect for roasts and toastens. Thank you.
Me and my friend had dinner at Fry's Spring Station a while back. It was a hot afternoon and they leave the door wide open, making the establishment (or at least the table we were at) infested with flies and mosquitos. We waited ~30 minutes to get our appetizers, and another 30 minutes for our pizza. Considering that there were only ~5 other parties it was quite a long wait. The food was mediocre, the garlic bread was decent, but the wings were too dry and the pizza (we had the Piggie Small) was too salty. Overall I don't have too much of a complain for their food, but the environment and service really need some improvement.
Not going to visit again. Service was bad! For example, they didn't give any napkins for the table. My friend ordered a salad and they didn't give fork with that. Provided only one menu when there were two people in the table. And the food isn't delicious.
Wonderful service! Everyone was so friendly and the food is delicious. Mules are served in the right cups. The restaurant itself is really cool to see and to be inside. 3 parking lots of what I saw, but there might be more what I couldn't see. Definitely worth it!
Here's my honest local guide. Fry Spring's Station is one of our pizzerias in Charlottesville. They have a large terrace for almost the year round outdoor dining. We tend to get out more in winter. Our favorites are the NORTH OF THE BORDER (Bacon, Red Onion, Jalapeno, Cheddar, Tomato Avocado Salad, House Cheese Blend, White Sauce) although no bacon for us since we are vegetarian, and the VICTORY GARDEN (Oliven, Pilz, Broccolini, Tomato, Red Onion, House Cheese Blend). However this time I mixed it and got a MARGHERITA (Mozzarella, Crushed Tomato, Basil). The Margherita was a little light on the sauce and basil. We get consistently good pizza with a nice butter crispy crust. We had no problems except they left the bacon at once.
