Selvedge Brewing - Charlottesville

Very nice spot. The old wool factory makes for a very spacious venue. The service was very quick and servers were pleasant. The beer is good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The herringbone IPA was a good one. Citrussy but less bitter and that's how I like em. The the Bourbon stout was very heavy with molasses tones so I'd have again as dessert.

The ordering situation here where you have no wait staff, you just order through your phone and it shows up shortly thereafter should be a national model it vastly improves the experience. Food is good, venue is good, drinks are good, nicely shaded area in the afternoon, would 100% recommend it. If more places had the ordering situation they?d probably improve their stars by at least one.

Great brewery with a spacious interior seating or outdoor seating. There are fans outside if it?s hot and there is self service water outside. The Old Fashion cocktail was fantastic, probably one of the best I have ever had in the area. There French fries are also really good, perfectly cooked. Service was quick and friendly. The only complaint was the online ordering and having to register yourself to see the menu. Overall great experience and will go back.

Wonderful ambiance and the seating areas are spaced out nicely. We absolutely love the abundance of natural light in this space. The service was great and certainly worth (at least) 18% included gratuity. We?ll definitely be back to check out the nearby trails and enjoy more of the menu.

A broad selection of excellent craft beer, good food, and fast service. A bit of a hike to get to, but the atmosphere at the end is worth it though hopefully you have a reservation or they happen to have an available spot.
