Tacos Gomez - Charlottesville

They served me some pretty good Mexican food. Lots of flies around the food truck though. Service was nothing to complain about. Overall I reccomend eating some of their Mexican food here. Very good.

First place in Virginia that tasted like authentic Mexican food. Being from California I’m not typically impressed with the Mexican food out. This place impressed me!!! Food was delicious!

How are we still using styrofoam containers in 2023? I ordered fries and they were immediately put in the styrofoam so hot they melted the styrofoam container. I didn’t feel like risking cancer tonight by eating styrofoam fries so I went back to tell them… but my trust that they wouldn’t just pour them in a different container was completely gone after that so I left. Food is decent but unfortunately but I’ll never go back after this experience. That was definitely a health violation and they should feel ashamed of creating unsustainable waste and potentially hurting customers. Don’t order anything still hot like the fries and you’ll be fine.

I’ve only had tacos one place in Charlottesville, but I’m confident this is the best place.

A good little food truck. We got the 4 taco for 13 bucks meal. Not a bad deal for a food truck, but also nothing stands out about the tacos. Good tacos is good tacos for sure, but I love the little extra that these seem to lack. Great service. Good hot sauce. Good place right outside to eat your meal. I dug the atmosphere and the awesome lady taking orders. No worries about eating there again. If I'm in the neighborhood I'm gonna try some other menu item because I think it's worth a shot. Definitely check em out and see what you think.!
