Clode Sound Motel's Restaurant

In addition to a motel, the Clode Sound Restaurant offers home cooked meals that surpass everything you can get in the area. Family owned and operated, and specialized in turkey dinner and sandwiches, they proudly made on their home bread and desserts. Gravy is out of the ground. We enjoyed our burgers and sandwiches and would certainly go back.

We thought it was a late lunch while we went through the highway. There was no one in the restaurant, so the service was really fast. I have celiac disease and I have to eat gluten-free. Our server wasn't sure what I could eat, but... she checked with the kitchen and learned that they had GF bread! I had a delicious BLT sandwich with cheese and one side of Fritten. They use a separate fryer for pommes so that no cross contamination. All 3 of us enjoyed or meals. The other two had sandwiches with homemade bread. We didn't get desserts, but the baked goods in the display counter looked amazing. Nothing nice, but worth a stop.

Located in Terra Nova National Park, this establishment offers both lodging and dining options. The lunch menu is diverse, featuring items such as sandwiches made with homemade bread. While the turkey sandwich was a bit lacking in turkey, the overall taste was satisfactory. Next time, we may opt for the strawberry crumble instead. The staff was welcoming and the service was acceptable.

After a tiring walk in Terra Nova Park, we were looking for an early dinner and found this restaurant nearby. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was freshly cooked and served promptly. We enjoyed going for a leisurely walk along the shore after dinner to complete our experience.

This quaint little restaurant has the absolute BEST partridgeberry crumble we've ever had! It was so delicious that we stopped on the way to Gros Morne and on the way back (and even took some to go for our trip). Wish they shared the recipe!...I live in Dallas so won't be frequenting this place often if every again. A must stop for the desserts, fresh bread and don't miss out on the crumble!!!
