Subway - Charlottetown

The location is hidden away in one of those "reverse" strip malls that councils seem to prefer now so that you can't even see the location from the street. You are taking your life in your hands in the mornings as the parking for this location is directly in the midst of the drag strip which is the launch pad from the Tim Horton's drive thru. I guarantee you that there are few fuel dragsters that are faster from a stop than most of the pickup truck drivers who floor it on the way out and right in front of this Subway. If you're backing up, you can bet you'll have a Dodge RAM you. The place itself is modern and clean, but the service is mostly disinterested and bored. The sandwich you receive varies enormously depending on the staffer preparing it. One person fills the subs to a greater than average level with the other is stingy to the point of leaving the buns close to empty. The quality of the fixins is vastly inconsistent as some of the tomatoes and lettuce served wouldn't even qualify as compost.So generally... meh.

Our sandwiches were sub par. The bun was stale on one sandwich and the flat bread was also not fresh. We have been going to this location for years but we will give it a pass in the future.

Pretty typical Subway, but at least the food is fresh and the staff are helpful. Good place for a quick lunch.

My wife and I go to the Subway close to our house when we want a quick meal. My favorite is a "Double Steak and Cheese" with extra cheese. The people at the Subway by our house are very friendly and put LOTS of extras on the sub as opposed to other Subways. They make a VERY good sandwich.

It's a Subway, which means that the food is pretty much the same as in any other Subway in North America. I have eaten at Subways all over North America and they are very consistent. I tend to avoid fast food restaurants, but Subway is my go-to fast food when I get stuck. This one has quite good service. If you like Subway, this is a good one to visit.
