Very good choice of wine. Lovely little bar. Knowledgeable and friendly owner. Recommend the rose by the glass and a bottle of corbieres.

I was looking for a place to bring a wine connoisseur. This was a great find as it is very friendly. I truly enjoyed the environment and the fact wine tasting is not snobby, i.e. you are allowed to have your own taste! The international selection is also there and I was able to buy some Malbec. The owner has a very broad knowledge and he is down to earth when he shares it.

We visited this place based on previous Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed! A great selection of wines and get the cheeseboard as well as the selection was delicious! We passed a very pleasant couple of hours - it is away from the tourist path so was very quiet and it was a perfect environment to relax it after a long day of driving! If you are in Chartes and need a place to while away an hour or 2 - I strongly recommend this!

Stopped here for a glass of wine as it looked very interesting and had a good selection of French wines. We ordered our wine and found we had to eat too as there are licensing rules in France which forbid the owner from just serving wine. The proprietor was very helpful offering us cheese as we are vegetarian. We chose a glass from the 'wines of the moment' a Reuilly which was a good example.The food was lovely, as was the cheese. The service was fast and friendly. The decor was modern with artisan touches.There were lots of artisan items for sale, from sign to cook hooks.A lovely place to sit and drink wine with lovely food.
