Unfortunately, bar employees do not know their own menu and what drinks are. But to be fair his very young crew. Breakfast is included in the price, but not very appealing its a buffet style the scrambled eggs were very dry, sometimes less better than to bring out too much. You have a magnificent view of Piódão.
If you are in the area, this place is a beautiful place for a hot drink and a small dessert. Warm, cousy and magic
The restaurant main tariff consists of two uninspired decisions. The young staff is nice, but not properly trained. When we were asked about the alternatives to the menu, we were told: "You would need a long time to prepare. The wine list is very limited,...and red wines are kept at kitchen temperature, about 30C 80F on the respective days of our stay. What is it that the restaurant is cheap? Give a choice for those who want a nice meal and don't mind paying more.
We recently had our trip with the Old Timer Club to the “Slate Village Piodão”. The club had made a reservation at the “Inatel Hotel” in Piodão to have diners. But the previewed highlight turned into something you do...not expect from a hotel, on this really excellent location at the entrance of the slate village of Piodão. We arrived with our group of 50 participants, but once we were not expected. No one from Hotel Personal took care of the group; we had to look for ourselves for a table in the restaurant for our diner. We could have a place among the other guests of the hotel because there was not enough room to have our group sit together. You need to know that the hotel has an outdoor terrace with a beautiful Vieuw over the village that had tables enough to have about 40 people, but nothing was foreseen, so we waited almost an hour with a group of more than 10 people to sit a place. Finally, we were able to join the “buffet” where not enough food was made available for all of us. Also the quality provided from the food was not what you should expect from this type of hotel. It is possible that the hotel has a value to have its stars, but it was certainly not what we saw in the restaurant. In the bad room of the lady there were no paper towels, we told the staff who promised to take care of this matter, but after more than 30 minutes the problem was still there, no paper towels! The large part of the staff of the restaurant was overwhelmed with this situation that was “maintained”. I have my doubts about the hotelkeeper's qualifications.
