Please try the goat. It was one of the best homemade typical dishes I tried! The staff was also very friendly! We also tried the local dessert and were super good. The goat stew is only 12€ and comes with one side of potato and broccoli. They also brought us a number of appetizers, including homemade jams and butter, which spread alongside olives. Would recommend!

Bacalhau da avó (Codfish) chanfana (Goat) are excellent! Manteiga de limão e queijo regional muito bons/ delicious butter with lemon and regional cheese. The young staff is super friendly and professional. Beautifully located in a beautiful narrow street.

Note that you are going early because reservations are not allowed. The restaurant is tiny and you have to wait. There could be many more tables outside, but they only had a few.. at the end slow service and not so superior to people who have waited for a long time.

Small restaurant in Piodao serves local Portuguese dishes at very affordable prices. Delicious food, nice atmosphere nice service.

This is a cute and small restaurant, the menu is very small. The chafana is well presented and the prices are moderated. Its a nice walk around the square parking is tight. Service is so and so, its a family place don’t expect too much.
