Satellite Restaurant - Chatham-Kent

I was in the mood for a classic restaurant and The Satellite did not disappoint. This restaurant has been running for over 60 years and it shows in the delicious and affordable food they serve. I tried the roast beef dinner with mushroom gravy and potatoes from the senior menu and it was amazing. I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day for the Salsbury Steak, which was just as good. The service was excellent and overall, I highly recommend The Satellite for those craving a traditional dining experience.

My experience in these days even once good restaurant is mixed due to delays with supply chains and lack of personnel, but this place was quite good. The staff was nice, but I found the service slow. I think like most places they're understated. If you're not in a hurry, it can work. The food was pleasant. Give him a shot.

I ordered a Greek salad with my dinner. It was small and consisted mostly of lettuce, with very little feta and tomatoes. The salad dressing had too much vinegar. There are limited options for non-meat eaters on the Senior's Menu.

The breakfasts here (eggs/bacon/home fries/coffee/toast are classic. The service is fast and so is the food. Big booths here for some privacy. Note: Bathrooms are in the basement and may to difficult to access for some people!

Decided to try this place for a fast lunch. Mistake, seated ourselves, server came over with menus and water...waited 10mins or so and looked around for our server. She had seated a table of +6 or so people and was promptly taking there order and...we were just left sitting there. So we left. Can’t say anything about the food, was too long a wait to take our order.
