Izakaya Arigato - Chatswood

The menu of this restaurant has changed.There is no Japanese restaurant.There is korean restaurant.Korean bbq is very good.

Expensive food. Actually, I'm just here because they have the cheapest in-restaurant korean alcohol in chatswood. food quality is only moderate.

Izakaya arigato is made by my default settings when in chatswood for a cheap, last dinner. since the bankrupt has been built, 'eat street' has become much less busy, and for those who want a nice quiet evening meal and not for tables, this street is (present) the place to go.

...sushi roll of chicken katsu cooked tuna, with fried onion on top and mustard drizzled over it. Very nice despite what seems to be a strange combination

Pleasant staff and if you sit in the outdoor area you can press a bell for service. Food was good but not exceptionally different from what I would expect from a standard Japanese restaurant. We ordered entree sashimi which was served quite sometime after almost finishing our mains. I found this odd as sashimi should be really fast to prepare. We also ordered Dragon Roll but the ingredients in the inside was cold as if it was just taken out of the fridge prior to preparing so it wasn't as nice.
