We ordered burgers and wings, along with some tap beer, and were completely satisfied. The bar island is especially fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious.
This was my $25 chicken and noodles. The chicken itself looked good but was mediocre at best. The actual chicken breast was bland and the breading and cheese was eh. The noodles were a complete disgrace. Absolutely flavorless and borderline inedible ,no salt/butter literally nothing. And the tomato ???? barely ripe. The kids Mac and cheese was reasonably priced and wasn?tKraft so there is that but it was also severely lacking in flavor. ??????????? I was extremely disappointed and expected farbetter food from here.
On a busy Saturday night, we were seated promptly with no wait. The hostess and server were very helpful and attentive, earning high marks for service. The restaurant offers a wide variety of beers on tap and in bottles for $5 each. We tried the flatbreads, which essentially are pizzas, as an appetizer and also ordered the calamari, both of which were excellent. Unfortunately, some in our group were disappointed with the chicken dish, as it came with plain spaghetti noodles without any seasoning or cheese. Many left their plates untouched. I opted for the lasagna, which was served as a tall cylinder and had good flavor. However, I was surprised that it did not come with a salad, so the combined cost of $20 for the pasta dish and $11 for a Caesar salad made it quite pricey according to Chattanooga standards, especially since bread was not included.
We started with a charcuterie platter featuring stone ground mustard, marcona almonds, orange marmalade, manchego, stilton, and fontina. The calamari was perfectly cooked with a saffron aioli. For our main dishes, we enjoyed a seared MapleLeaf Farms duck breast on a bed of sweet potato risotto with a maple-fig agrodolce. We also had an 1855 Top Sirloin with garlic buttered fingerling potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a pepperoni demi glace. The meal was fantastic and the staff was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
