I’ve been coming to this Starbucks daily since it opened a few years ago. Up until a few days I received stellar service. The very few times my coffee wasn’t quite right it was corrected with no problem. I have the app and order the exact same thing every day (it’s the only kind of coffee I drink). I’ve ordered this same thing in airports, several cities, and even several countries, it always tastes pretty much the same. The staff has always been helpful and courteous which I why this has upset me to the point I’m giving only the 2nd negative review I’ve given in my entire life. Paula (the new manager) did not make my coffee correctly, remade it twice, it was still incorrect. She told me “I made it twice, would you like something else”. My response “no I would like the same coffee I drink every day since 2018”. Aaron offered to make my coffee correctly and reluctantly she let him and it was perfect. She preceded to tell me how to order my coffee the correct way in a very condescending manner. I have been hitting the app on repeat for close to 5 years all over the world. I’ve always worked customer service for over 30 years and this was plain bad customer service. In fairness I will do a separate 5 star review for Aaron’s top tier service and handling of the situation.
Paula is the best service agent that serves a shining beacon for Starbucks. Please visit this location and tell her I sent you.
