Peking Hors Doeuvre - Chelmsford

Categorically the worst Chinese I have ever had. Chicken was watery. Vegetables seemed old. “Satay Sauce” tasted like watered down curry powder. Pork was so grissly it was inedible. Only saving grace were the chips! Throughly disappointed and will never return again.

Chow mien was too greasy. Duck wasn’t nice. Nothing was nice tbh. I ordered a lot 5 or so dishes for between 2) but only had a couple of mouthfuls and was expensive. £35 for two people). It wouldn’t of been so bad if the price reflected the standard of food

We tried a few Chinese takeaways before finding Peking Hors D'oeuvre, now we never order anywhere else. The staff are great and work their socks off when its busy to get everyone's orders out fast. The food is consistently excellent. Not a bad word to say about them.

I have ordered a few takeaways lately and to be honest I have had enough. The quality of food here is poor. This weekend I ordered a meal from here and it was a great disappointment.

I have ordered from here loads of times, last order was over £60, still came hot and on time. Would highly recommend lovely food
