Good menu and eat, cheerful servier staff, but service on the slow side Saturday night and very busy. dining room cozy but would be better with a less table.

Our first visit and worth the trip. it is a simple bus ride from braintree area over broomfield hospital, although would have helped to plan the trip if we knew that the bus stop is called the windmill! should be changed in rose and crown. good ales with bischof nick 1555 and london pride 2 of our favorite! we will try smaller teller than current menu too expensive and big for a lunch. expected expectations, this is a nice pub.

Food was very tasty as usual. We are always satisfied with our meals at the Rose Crown.

Lovely food and friendly staff. We expected to be listening to the piano girl(2nd Weds of each month) but she wasn’t there,due I expect to the football being shown in the bar, so slightly disappointed by that,but otherwise will definitely return as really enjoyed our evening.

Friendly waitress eat delicious, although a little slow as not busy, but perhaps only with extra care about making fresh. but no fan of wooden boards.
