Subway - Chelmsford

Despite the initial confusion with the closed sign, our experience at this Subway on New Year's was exceptional. The friendly lady working there provided outstanding customer service, taking our order even though they were technically closed. Her sweetness and willingness made it the best Subway store in town for us, ensuring our return in the future ?

Literally closes whenever. Doesn't update signage outside the store. Leaves the sign on and door unlocked and refuses service. I visited your establishment Friday Dec 22 an hour before your listed close and was refused service. I wasnt offered chips, cookies or drinks. I was told they were out of bread and as such could do nothing for me. The employee was already walking into the back by the time they even put out the words. You are closed if you won't sell a customer your product. I would have taken a drink a bag of chips or a cookie over nothing. Thank you for not looking into the situation before invalidating a customers experience.To my understanding subway also sells salads soups chips cookies and drinks, no?

So I went in about 30 minutes before close last night, and wanted to leave the nice man who made my food my a 20% tip so I left it on debit cause I didn't have cash..I asked him how the tips work here and he said we only get to keep the tips put in the jar, anything on debit goes to the owner....that made me upset....this man is making my food and working his hours and not getting the tips given to him!?!?!? I feel robbed. I didn't give my money to the owner....I gave it to the hard working gentlemen who served me last night. DONT leave any debit tips if you plan on tiping the persone who served you. This is not right.

Hello to the user named c.p who gave a recent review about not getting our debit tips. I as a employee working there myself I am here to confirm that we as a whole team get our tips on weekly basis and it is clearly a miscommunication between the employee and customer leading to review like this.

Stopped in after a 12 hour day of truck driving. I was quite hungry and ordered a small Stampede Beef Briscuit Sub. Very disappointed as there were only two small thin strips of beef with two pieces of cheddar on a small bun. With tax this sandwich was $14! Absolutely ridiculous. I was still starving after eating it. I understand the supply chain issues and high prices everywhere nowadays, but I will never eat here again. On the other side of the coin, I purchased a Dagwood sandwich from Foodland grocery store the other day for $5.49 and it had quadruple the meat and cheese. I was very full after eating it and the price was right. Try again Subway....very disappointed! Keep up the great value Foodland...you know what Canadians want!
