Brasserie Blanc - Cheltenham

Excellent eating, fab service in a great atmosphere.

Evening meal busy atmosphere. Can get noisy with large parties but overall good service

Brasserie Blanc is one of the most elegant restaurants in Cheltenham. Stylish and sophisticated decor makes it a very pleasant environment to dine in. The dining area is very spacious and light, you feel comfortable at your table and far enough away from other tables. The staff are very warm and friendly, eager to please without being pushy. We were there on 24 September 2021, we didn't have a booking, but staff kindly found a table for us for 1.5 hours. We had the most delicious Halibut in leek sauce with prawn crushed potatoes , it was absolutely delectable, I would highly recommend it! The wine was Stellenbosch chablis and was a perfect accompaniment to the fish. This was a wonderful experience and friendly staff and the waiter made us feel welcome and special.

I went to Brasserie Blanc many years and didn 't like it because of the interior decor, the whole place seemed cold and clinical. Now, many years on, they have revamped it, the menu is good and the dishes appear beautifully presented and cooked. Lovely! It 's on my 'A ' list again.

3 of us went out for dinner Saturday night. Great food and drinks. Good friendly service. We took drinks outside and sat on the patio outside with heaters which was good as the evening got cooler. Not cheap spent over £200 for the 3 of us but worth it, was a great evening.
