Extremely disappointed. We thought it would be a treat going here for breakfast coming from Eastbourne on vacation! How wrong were we. My husband had the cooked breakfast which was warm. I went to get the cutlery, the first three forks I picked up all had dirty ground in old food on them! I had the breakfast bap and had a sausage which had to be the worst cheapest sausage I had ever bitten into. The fried egg was cold. Hence I only had one bite as it was inedible IMO. Coming from a managerial background the staff need a) a complete re-training b) the food should not be left on a warming tray which clearly is NOT keeping the food hot and c) most importantly all of the cutlery once washed should be inspected before it's placed back outside for use. I am surprised that food and hygenie authorities have not been in to inspect.
Slightly retro style, but none the worse for that and notably clean and orderly. Nice selection of pastries, coffee within the very top quality group in downtown Cheltenham. Staff famously supportive and friendly. Has WiFi and, for those inclined, a quiet tv with news in one, unobtrusive nook. Highly recommended
This is a nice relaxing cafe in HofF store. Regularly meet friends for a drink or bite to eat. Staff are all friendly and food reasonably priced. Plenty of room and plenty of shopping nearby of course. One negative comment.... the coffee is not consistent. Very nice cappuccino at 10.30 followed by very indifferent weak cappuccino 20 minutes later. A little training required please.
We were shopping instore and decided to visit Cafe Zest for a coffee. We both went for a Latte which was very good.
