Foodie heaven. this place is amazing that I went with my partner (a very difficult to enjoy and had the tasting menu. We are happy enough to have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the country (2 3 stars included) and this little gem is up with the best! The meal started with a delicious potato garlic amouse bouche. then they wore on amazing hand-dipped scallops (a real part also with black bauch. next, a bark meat assault came something I would never have chosen myself, but it was fantastic, and it was clear that the cook has an evil sense of humor! then we had the healed, with a shellfish cocoulet loves my partner cassoulet makes a common oneself) but that was truly for to die. tequila sorbet with a salt biscuit tasted more like tequila than tequila does! the main course was the softest veneion with a sky chocolate sauce (I now run out of adjectives to describe how well this meal was. then dessert. white chocolate mousse, strawberry balls and peppermint crunchie blown! apparently the chef had made a stage in fat duck, good he definately took a trick or two! then the last cure to share a dessert asssiette at this point I died and went into the sky it was incredible. brulee, fondant, parfait, marshmallow Orgasmic!!The restaurant itself is quiet and relaxing and the waiters are knowledgeable friendly. but what about the bill I ask? £150, which contains a very good bottled wine and it felt like the best value for money meal we had in very long time! And my partner thoughts satisfied still (but until the remembrance began. he has been going on
What an amazing dining experience. The food and the service! We’ve been to most Michelin starred restaurants from 1 star all the way to 3 stars at Gordon Ramseys. Those are hit and miss but this non-Michelin starred restaurant is one of the best I’ve had, everything was exceptional. We’re from London but will definitely be coming back again sometime
This might just be the best meal I've ever had. I haven't been to many upscale restaurants, but this place far surpassed the Michelin-starred ones I've visited. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was an incredible dining experience and definitely worth the £50 for the four-course lunch, which also included three exceptional amuse bouches.
We celebrated a special birthday with the tasting menu at this restaurant. There were many small bites of delicious taste and texture. Each dish was beautifully crafted with passion and attention to detail. The lady who seemed to be in charge of the front of house knew every detail about the dishes and ingredients. While the prices were a bit high, the experience was definitely worth a return visit. We will have to come up with more special occasions to enjoy another wonderful evening at this restaurant.
