Sandringham Yacht Club - Cheltenham

Great food,great service,great views. I have been here for lunch a few times and love it. The seafood is always fresh and there is a great selection of wines too.

I could not fault this restaurant overlooking the marina. Regretfully the outdoor area was battered with squally showers, but oh so warm and cosy inside. Staff are well skilled and provide excellent service. Food was top quality and delicious. I had the filet mignon which was cooked exactly as I requested.

The venue has two restaurants one for members and the other for the public. I have eaten in both. The club is a lot friendlier and cheaper (but you need to know someone??)

The view of the beautiful blue coastline, the yachts sailing and also oored on the floating marina was so lovely. The food was delicious- the share seafood platter is the way to go - crab, fish and chips, oysters, mussels, calamari and more. So fresh and mouthwatering. The bonus is that we could linger and enjoy conversation and the views.It's a bit of fun that the Commodore is the Duke of Edinburgh.

We had a family lunch here and all enjoyed our meals. Presentation was very good, and service couldn't be faulted. I had the pan fried salmon fillet with pea puree which was well cooked, others in the party had the Port Arlington mussels, fish and chips and eye fillet. We didn't have a table close to the window but could see enough of the view to make it enjoyable. We could have sat outside but as it was a very hot day we ditched the view for the comfort of the air con.
