Prego - Chennai (Madras)

Went on a Friday evening and had one of the most wonderful experiences. Live jazz music added to the quiet dinner. We ordered the steamed asparagus with truffle oil and Parmesan and a charcoal crusted pizza. The pizza was unique and something I haven’t tasted before- absolutely delicious.

Great Restaurant. Best place to taste few delicacies with an awesome live music. Instantly fell in love with the new Jazz music Band on Saturday. Will come again for the music and food

Cozy ambience, great wine collection and excellent food. Tried the pumpkin ravioli and spaghetti. Both tasted great and were not too heavy. Followed up with tiramisu for dessert which also did not disappoint.<br/ <br/ Overall a great dinner that was complimented by a very courteous staff. I had a Taj experience card to use and the manager ensured no interruptions during dinner for any info and it was automatically credited to the bill. kudos to the small things too as they make a huge difference in your dining experience.

I came to Prego for dinner with a hope to discover a new taste in Italian. The staff were really friendly and the ambience was quite and pleasant as expected. It was decently lit and there was a really soft music going on in the background.There were not many choices for vegetarians but the chef himself came up to our table and was ready to prepare Jain variants too. At his suggestion, we tried the ravioli, having a combination of pumpkin and blue cheese, it was delicious! Must try if you ever come here. The Lasagna also tasted great. We completely enjoyed the food and the evening.

This place is for the ones who want true Italian food in the heart of Chennai! Tried the duck, and stuffed chicken and beef lasagne!Although the names are a little too hard for me to type out!Great Italian flavours and love the ambiance!
