When they drive a whole day on autoroutes they are tired and do not feel like sitting in a posh restaurant for hours and they still want to eat good is a good solution. for a few years, when we go south, we have a...night stay in chenôve (burgundy) south of dijon. ideally located near the autoroute, but far enough to find quiet hotels. there we stay in the armony (formerly kyriad) Inter-Hotel dijon sud, in a retail park. only a few minutes away you will find the restaurant chinois buffet d 'asie. a large restaurant for at least one hundred guests and usually visited by locals. reception is friendly and easy to go if it is not too busy, but find a table before eight, after which it is really busy. the buffet serves a very large selection of mostly Chinese food, but they also have some Thai and Indonesian satay entrees. the fried scallops are our favorites. the main course and the gloomy are everything we could wish, the quality is perfect. price for this all they eat buffet is 15,50€ per person. even the prices for drinks are very reasonable, perhaps explain the popularity of this restaurant with the locals of the surrounding wine producing villages to dinate with large families.

If after driving a whole day on "autoroutes" you are tired and don't feel like sitting for hours in a posh restaurant and you still want good food this is a sound solution. For quite some years already when driving southwards we have a one night stop in Chenôve (Burgundy) just south of Dijon. Ideally located near the autoroute, but far enough to find quiet hotels. There we stay at the Armony (previously Kyriad) Inter-Hotel Dijon Sud, located in a retail park.At just a few minutes walk you find the Restaurant Chinois Buffet d'Asie. Quite a large restaurant for at least a hundred guests and mostly frequented by locals. Reception is kind and easy going if it isn't too busy, but do find a table before eight, afterwards it gets really busy. The buffet served offers a very large choice of mostly Chinese food, but they also have some Thai and Indonesian satay entrees. The fried scallops are our favorites. The main course and deserts are everything we could wish, the quality being perfect. Price for this all you can eat buffet is 15.50€ per person. Even the prices for the drinks are very reasonable, perhaps explaining the popularity of this restaurant with the locals of the surrounding wine producing villages coming to dine with large families.
