The Village Inn - Chepstow

I have been in a couple of times with my wife since it changed ownership. Been very happy on those occasions. Very extensive weekday menu and a very good Sunday Roast. The food has been great, portions are large and the service very good. Only minor point was that our Sunday roast dinners were not as hot as we would have liked but overall not enough of an issue to raise at the time. Will definitely go again. Price per person: £20–30

Took my parents and my wife and boys for a late lunch on Saturday 23rd September. To be honest I wasn’t expecting such a fantastic meal and service. But our village pub did us proud. Clean and tidy. The young lady who served us was fantastic and then the food. We were spoilt by both the quality and quantity. I wholeheartedly recommend going. And if management read my post. Please pass on to the lady who served us and the duty chef. We will certainly be returning. Thank you.
