Embers - Cherry Hill

Embers is always the top restaurant in the area. It's absolutely fantastic.

This breakfast and dining room belongs to the incredibly disappointing Crowne Plaza hotel in Cherry Hill. The service was dreadful; our waiter acted as if it was a burden to take our orders and even got some of them wrong, such as falsely claiming that the soup was vegetarian when it contained beef. After finishing our meal, we waited 35 minutes for the check, causing most of our group to leave. I had to track down the bus boy, the only person who would acknowledge me, in order to request the check from our waiter. The food itself was average at best and lacked flavor. We were only dining at Embers due to being stuck in the hotel for a sports team event; otherwise, there is no reason to eat there. Stay away!

The waiter made several errors, such as forgetting food orders, bringing the wrong dishes, and interrupting conversations. However, the restaurant has ample space for a meeting or sales lunch.

Embers Grill is a nice restaurant, but has a very small menu selection. They also had apparently ran out of the particular beer on tap that was looking for.

This was our first time to this restaurant. We went there in hopes of having a pre-fixe menu which was listed on-line but when we got there we were told that it should of been pulled from the internet ad and that it wasn't available. We ordered from the regular menu but the food was bland...like no seaonings were even added. There was a very big group at the hotel and they didn't have enough help in the restaurant so the service was horrible. Big changes will have to be made or this place won't make it.
