Feedback gevenI come here about once a week and I love it. The madya bowl is delicious and the portions are huge. the prices are so reasonable for what you’re getting. also the muffins are great but they sell out early in the day so be quick! the juices are 10/10 they literally have a fridge full of fruits and vegetables and you watch the juicing process right in front of you. so healthy and amazing and wonderful. The buffalo cauliflower tacos were amazing. The sauce is so good. The black bean burger is terrible. It might literally be the worst one I've ever had. It falls apart and doesn't taste good. Has the person who made that recipe even tasted one recently? It's just not good. Other raw/organic food places do a dehydrated beet burger which is pretty good. Other than that, some of the workers kind of stare you down while you're looking at the menu, like they can't wait another second for you to order. They're very polite otherwise, but I noticed them doing this more than once. Sorry to sound negative, that's just my review style, it's a good place overall.
I sometimes forget this place exists since it exists quietly in Mom's Organic Grocery, but I love to head here for the occasional naked lunch! Today I got one of my favorites, the sushi bowl. I'm a meat eater and this doesn't leave me wanting for anything. The roasted miso tofu is tasty, and the bowl is so filling. I feel like they used to put edamame in it too, but maybe I might be wrong about that. Either way, super delicious. The staff is always friendly and quick. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is their seating. The chairs have a pretty small frame and may not be comfortable for larger people, especially the higher bar stools. I felt like I was trying to balance on them. It's fine though, this is more of a takeout kind of place, and I find the outdoor seating area pretty nice and shaded. Can't wait to come back to try another bowl!
Best people ever at Naked Lunch. Always so kind and helpful. I don’t know where they pluck these people from but they’re great. And the bowls will last you several days. They have mostly vegan, all organic. The non vegan options are feta, Parmesan and blue cheese. No meat (which we are happy about as plant based family. The bowl portions are large enough to split and only $10 (where others would charge $15+. They have tacos but unfortunately I can’t have them anymore as they contain chickpeas and I’m not certain that they’re not contaminated with glyphosate so we just skip them now. They have Kombucha, freshly made juices, homemade dressings and soup, and MUFFINS. We used to love the vegan crema dressing but it’s made with aquafaba (which comes from chickpea. Any time there’s an issue, which is rare, they rectify it immediately… even offering above and beyond what’s necessary and never with an attitude. They’re just a cool spot and I’m so glad we found them and that we live 5 mins away.Would be great if they had a few actual tables or booths. They have high-tabling along three walls in a u-shape off to the side. I can’t remember but I think it’s higher seating than would be appropriate for kids. Would be great if they had a more chill seating arrangement and some tunes. Would be FANTASTIC if they started offering breakfast. We’d definitely be frequent customers. We haven’t eaten there as dine-in, as we always get to-go and eat at home, but I’m not complaining! You can’t go wrong with Naked Lunch. My picture attached is a make your own bowl with brown rice and green base, tofu cubes, cucumber, sweet potato, marinated hearts of palm, green onion, vegan parmesan, and turmeric ginger dressing with a side of baked yam (which husband added miyokos butter. Vegetarian options: No meat, and we love it. They have a great roasted tamari tofu cube side which is GREAT in any standard or make-your-own bowl.Parking: Plentiful parking. Also there’s a separate entrance from MOMs so that you don’t have to walk through the grocery store if you don’t want to (but why wouldn’t you want to? Jk. Dietary restrictions: Helpful for those of us who don’t want chicken ovulation and cow mammary secretions in all their forms — in everything.
I was so excited to find out about your restaurant! Then I found out the closest was in Cherry Hill. The next time I am out that way I am definitely having lunch there. I have thoroughly read the menu and love everything on it. I don't know what to try first! As an advocate of organic food for las 35 years I am so thrilled to find your restaurant. I don't like to go to conventional restaurants as I don't know the food sources. Love the concept and so nice to not have to be in SoCal to find this kind of restaurant.
