Alvarez Mexican - Cherry Valley

I am blown away by this restaurant. It is incredibly inviting and the food is delicious. The guacamole was top-notch and clearly homemade. The tacos were packed with flavor and so satisfying.

This is by far the best Mexican food we have had since moving here in 2016. I will not be trying any other restaurants, this is now my go-to spot. The meal was absolutely fantastic.

Service was terrific but not many people in the restaurant. Food was good but very bland. Salsa was also bland but dropped in some Tabasco to fix it

The restaurant formerly known as Alvarez has changed its name. The food was mediocre and we were charged for water. The hard corn tortillas served were pre-packaged and not fresh. The tacos did not come with cilantro or onions, and we had to pay extra for salsa or hot sauces. Additionally, there were store-bought bottles of habanero hot sauce on the table. Overall, I was disappointed and will not be returning. The server was friendly, but not transparent about the food preparation. Service was for dine-in only.

We visited this restaurant with a group of 20 people for a birthday party, and they did an excellent job with both the food and the service.
