Caffe Nero - Cherwell

The staff were just okay. I was given a dirty knife and fork for my sandwich, so I asked for another set, which was also dirty. I ended up using my fingers instead. The floors appeared dirty and the toilet floor was wet with no toilet paper. The cleaning schedule on the door showed that the place hadn't been cleaned in 6 days, and it definitely looked like it.

The customer service at this restaurant was really awful. Initially, they did not listen to my request to have no cream on my order and put a lot of cream on anyway. When they handed me my cup, a lot of it spilled onto the saucer and they did not do anything to rectify it. There was no friendliness or smiles from the staff, they even threw napkins at me. They appeared to be unhappy and when I requested a new saucer, they nearly threw it at me as well. I was completely disappointed and unimpressed with the service.

The staff at this restaurant were terribly rude. When I asked for a glass for my drink, they told me to go get one myself. When I went to get the glass, there were none available. Even after I told the staff member this, they still did not bring me a glass.

We were here a few days ago and bought a couple of coffees ....I think around £7. A pair of cops walked in and got free coffee before being caught doing so by a/member of the public they started lying about receiving free coffee as its against their rules. Totally weird experience and I’ll not go back to somewhere that gives free coffee to some and charges others because of their job!

Very very slow. Trainee barista serving a long line of waiting customers whilst more experienced member of staff doing an online order of at least 3 coffees. Very understaffed. If you’re going to do online orders as well please have the staff to do it. The queue was 10 long at 9am.. I waited 20 mins for a regular latte- got charged for a large but couldn’t be bothered to quibble over it. It was too foamy as well. Very poor experience.
