Costa Coffee - Cherwell

In recent months, I have visited Costa in Stroud Park. Unfortunately, the opening hours have been inconsistent due to reported "technical problems" or issues with the store. Today, when I arrived, the restaurant was already closed, only offering drive-thru service. The few areas where we were allowed to use the restroom were unhygienic, with hair and urine on the toilet seat and a wet floor near the sink. This is not the standard I have come to expect from Costa. While I understand that times are tough, it is concerning to see such lack of cleanliness. I advise others to be cautious when planning a visit and to be aware of the opening hours, especially if stopping by to charge their car at nearby charging points.

I usually love Costa and am a regular visitor. As a family, we stopped at the drive-thru location and checked online for the opening times. When we arrived at the door, it was locked despite many employees being inside. I tried to get their attention by knocking on the door, but was ignored. My small child was very upset, and I am extremely disappointed. Even though the opening times on the door indicated they should have been open, I will not be returning to Costa.

I enjoy visiting Costa Banbury. The staff is knowledgeable and professional, taking good care of customers and ensuring their satisfaction. During my last visit with a friend, I noticed many COVID-19 safety signs. My cappuccino was made to perfection and the cake was delicious. The prices are reasonable and worth it.

Visited twice in December. coffee and food in order, but the lack of covid safety measures was disturbing. the personal does not wear masks and tables that are not deleted and sanitary between the customers. at the second visit we took our own cloths and sanitized our table.

Good bit- location is min off and has ample free car park. Bad bits- we ate in and man behind counter had no mask on. Tables left uncleared and were not cleaned down between users. Food and drink were typical Costa- fine.
