The Boat Inn - Cherwell

Upon entering the restaurant, it is clear that both the food and service are exceptional. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

Great location, nice enough pub, though slightly careworn. Atmosphere is relaxed and staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was poor though looked like it was all straight out of the Brake Bros van and into the microwave/fryer. The descriptions on the menu didn't match what appeared on our (cold) plates. Lunch Review I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant. I highly recommend this place for a great lunch experience.

The pub is really charming, but unfortunately, our experience was not great. We had a long wait for our burgers because they couldn't find them at first. When they arrived, they were a bit overcooked and served on a dry bun. The salad was just a few leaves thrown on the plate, not like the pictures we had seen. The chips were also not very warm. The server seemed stressed and didn't seem too concerned when we mentioned our disappointment with the food. It's a shame because the venue itself is lovely. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
