I travel all over the country visiting one or two pubs a week. This one, while the beer was lovely has some of the rudest staff I’ve met in 20 years of visiting local real ale pubs. Very likely your experience could be very different, why? Visited previously and was fine. Beer drinker beware.

Called in Monday evening to sample a couple of well kept pints of Robinsons Unicorn Always made very welcome to a well kept clean Public House

Me and my daughter stumbled upon this amazingly lovely pub on a visit to the area, the staff and customers were so friendly, the pub itself has an old court yard as the beer garden smoking area and the building is original and super cosey with the real fire, wish I lived closer for this to be my local will definitely be coming back to the area just for this pub

Nicely decorated pub with good selection of beers. Social distancing not an issue and a beer garden at the rear if you fancy outside drinking

On a bit of a crawl around Macclesfield and ended up here as one of us was catching a train at the nearby station. Good atmosphere, friendly welcome and a pint of Unicorn. A gang of women were running the pool table but we did get a game in, good fun.
