We tried the white and red wine flights for a sample size tasting, which included a creamy South African Chenin Blanc and a zingy Italian Pinot Noir. The tapas style small plates of tapenade, carved carrots and radishes, smoked trout and potato salad were all delicious. We finished off our meal with a smooth coffee and a decadent cake. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the background music was well selected. If you're in Chester, this place is a must-visit.
This restaurant offers a delightful variety of light bites including sandwiches, cheese, and charcoal. They also have a great wine selection, and if coffee is preferred, it is also quite good. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it highly recommended.
My second visit was on a Saturday afternoon for hot chocolate and cake with my daughter. Once again, the service was top-notch and the hot chocolate was amazing, possibly the best in Chester. The cake was also delicious. I later returned for lunch with my mother, where we both opted for the soup and roasted sandwich combo. We were completely satisfied with the food and drinks, as well as the friendly and professional staff. This restaurant is incredibly versatile and definitely one of the best in Chester. I look forward to many more visits in the future.
Beautiful place, I have been there several times since the opening. the level of service is fantastic, we had the cries every time and a bottle of wine. the quality of eating is excellent, it is a good supplement to the pulsating northgate quarter and will definitely be a regular visit.
Went to Docket 64 just after it opened and it was fantastic the Quality of the Food, Wines service is fine dining level. All bread, cakes etc are homemade. The owners really know their stuff its the best wine bar in Chester by a country mile and every detail has been considered. ALSO its so refreshing to go somewhere where everything is locally sourced it really is worth a visit...can't wait to go back.
