Nice dinner. a little disappointed I ordered a steakburger, but did not get the choice as rarely I wanted. the burger was juicy, but was well done. the page order was a bit expensive for the size. Electric car chargers were charging point and not the cheapest, but overall I was happy. the customer service and the atmosphere were the highlight of the visit.

This restaurant is a must-visit in Chester. We were so happy to discover this hidden gem. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxed. We ended up eating here twice during our four-day stay. On the first night, we had grilled skewers with baby potatoes, tomatoes, and broccoli. It was a healthy and delicious meal, though I would suggest adding a lemon wedge on the side. My husband had the grilled steakburger with a flavorful gravy that was out of this world. Our daughter joined us on the second day and we enjoyed steak and ale pie, a dressed American chicken burger, and I treated myself to a South African Merlot Malbec blend. The wine was exceptional. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

We visited the oak tree on Sunday for a private friendly and family meeting. the whole staff was very friendly, polite and looked at us with a smile on the face. the private functional area was perfect for this personal rest to come together, where they can relax in the beautiful garden in rest and rest. eating was amazing that offered for everyone with a lot of choice. victoria made us all very welcome and looked at us without a fuss. would definitely recommend.

Came as a family of 6 months after a trip in chester zoo. we had no booking, but we're still sitting. it was very busy, but a great atmosphere. the manager holly and another dame were the only two who did not stop, but the service had not at all been sorry. we had all two courses. the children's dishes came out faster than the adults we thought were a great note. If we are back in chest, we will certainly stop. great value for money and wonderful food. many thanks to the oak tree

We have been to the oak tree many times over the last few months. And the standard of food and service just keeps getting better. Food comes hot and delicious. There's sometimes a bit of a wait but staff keep you informed, are apologetic and we completely understand when this happens. Everyone tries their best. And any food is worth the wait. A special mention to Holly who always seems to be the manager on duty. She treats you like family, is always happy and clearly loves what she does. An asset to yourselves. We will definetly be returning
