Papa Johns - Cheshire West and Chester

I found the cigarette smoke in this restaurant to be overwhelming. The staff at Papa John's were smoking right outside the store, causing the smoke to blow inside. When I mentioned it to the person serving me, they seemed to think it was acceptable. The staff were also wearing Papa John's T-shirts, which made the experience even more unpleasant. If I hadn't already placed and paid for my order online, I would have left. The lack of estimated pick-up time made the wait even more frustrating, and by the time we got our pizza, it was only lukewarm. Despite the delicious taste, I will not be returning to this location due to the cigarette smoke, as I am asthmatic and it is a trigger for me. It would be helpful for the restaurant to provide estimated pick-up times to avoid such inconveniences in the future.

I’ve given papa Johns so many attempts to get things right but every time they just can’t. The last 3, yes 3 times I’ve ordered I’ve not got my order. When the tracking works it says your pizza is on its way (when it isn’t) or worse it says preparing status for 2 hours that means Mike and Co are so busy it’s still a ticket. They should stop taking orders , each time when I call to follow it up it’s the same story they are too busy. You shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours from ordering to get a pizza . It’s such a shame as pizza used to be good from here but it’s service is just shocking

Worst customer service I have had from a pizza Branch! Let me start by saying i do like papa Johns but this branch was poor to say the least. Ordered 2 pizzas at 8pm on Friday 18th June before going out with friends. The pizza was set to “delivered” at approx. 8:30pm but no pizza arrived. We called them and Mike answered the phone and said they were very busy and it was on its way. We were still waiting by 9pm so gave them a call again but they didn’t answer. Used a different phone and got through at 9:10pm and mike said the pizza was ready but they didn’t have enough drivers and it would be out soon. By 9:34 and several more calls we found out the pizza hadn’t been made, drivers weren’t a problem but Mike couldn’t explain why it was so late. We asked for a refund after a heated conversation to which Mike said it would be processed in 3-5 working days. 6 working days later now and no refund has come through for pizzas that were not delivered. Called the branch again to find out no refund has been put through and will be another 3-5 working days while they check with management…. DO NOT USE CHESTER BRANCH!

Fast delivery, good value with special offer. Pizzas not as good as usual however. One felt undercooked, and the vegan pizza has been better in the past. Sorry, but not the best in Chester for pizza delivery anymore.

Avoid ordering from this place. You pay for food that never shows up. They do not answer the phone or reply. Absolutely absurd.
