Had a girls breakfast morning. Staff very helpful. Food was hot and well presented. Sadly my meal was spoilt by black cracked pepper over egg, tomato and mushroom. I should have sent it back. I was last to be served and did not want to cause a fuss. Having said that I would highly recommend, BUT ensure when you place your food order requested food not to be seasoned. Price per person: £10–20

We were visiting the area and got booked in for Sunday lunch. Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere, homely and comfortable. Friendly staff. The lunch was fabulous! Really good value and the quality of the food was excellent too. Good choice of puddings. Too many infact! The jam roly poly and custard was delicious! Wish this place was on our doorstep! Parking is a bit tricky but other than that, faultless. Price per person: £10–20
