The decor inside was really cozy not your typical chairs it felt like you were back at home. Music selection was really good too. I order the chicken and waffles with a cornbread appetizer. The food was amazing initially, but when I got home I did feel somewhat nauseous assuming I ate too much I thought nothing of it. We had a wonderful server, first of all. The restaurant is adorable and cozy. Our food was delicious, and we tried fried pickled green tomatoes, corn bread, burger and chicken and waffles. However, I got very sick a couple of hours later. My fiance was nauseous but we just assumed we ate too much, and since we don't eat out often, too much fried and salty food didn't sit well with me. And then my fiance ate the leftovers the next day... And got just as sick if not worse.

I am so glad I visited here. The place is fantastic. Elegant southern ambiance and flawless friendly service and staff. They have 3 menus, lunch, late afternoon light menu that starts 3pm and dinner menu that starts 5pm. One of the best whiskey and bourbon lists I've ever seen. Worthy of a Louisville or a Vegas place. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. My husband and I went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day, and we left extremely pleased. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional, and the drinks were extraordinary! I will definitely return with friends and family. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was fantastic, from the service to the food. Be sure to allow extra time since everything is made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The fried Brussels sprouts were extraordinary, and the Kentucky hot chicken is spicy yet incredibly flavorful. The Carolina pulled pork sandwich is also a must-try. Everything is sourced from local farms and prepared in-house. Truly amazing!
