Snacks El Guapo Menlo Park

Great mom and pop restaurant with an assortment of Mexican dishes. Their ice cream is delicious and so are their juices. A hidden gem with amazing customer service. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and great desert then it's a must try.

People are nice nice it looks like a they organized and clean.

Family owned (husband and wife) establishment. Super friendly owners, clean, very spacious with great options if you would like to get your Mexican antojito fix or simply get your Mitchell's ice cream. I'm a super fan of Mitchell's and travel from Redwood City to SF for ice cream. I'm happy to say that Guapos has new customers in my kids and I. I have to emphasize that I've been to the other 2 businesses down the street that offer similar options but I have to say that Snacks is by far cleaner and more organized. Food safety is key in any establishment that offers food items and their cleanliness speaks for that. If you know Mitchell's you'll sure be glad there's a business in Redwood City/Menlo Park area that carries their products. Nos vemos muy pronto Guapos!

I went to Snacks and had a torta (sandwich with pork, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onions, and jalapeños , pineapple agua fresca, and coconut ice cream. Snacks is really clean and well-maintained. Lucy was super kind and welcoming. Best of all, the food was delicious! The agua fresca and torta were made fresh. The bread was warm, toasted, crisp on top and soft on the inside (just how I like it! The pork in the torta was moist even though it was white meat, and flavorful from the sauce in the torta. Legit my perfect sandwich. The agua fresca was blended with fresh pineapples (no artificial flavors and so refreshing for the summer. Snacks serves Mitchell's ice cream and there's other favorite flavors of mine. There's also so much more I want to try on the menu so I'll definitely be coming back!

Passed this on way to dinner, so stopped by for dessert. They have a sticker on window to say they carry Mitchell's icecream!! Brand new store, very friendly, and ice-cream was great. Horchata, lucuma, ube, as well as other more standard flavors. And no need to fight parking and lines in SF.
