The food was good pretty much what I would expect and not a lot of complaints. I ordered Sake nigri (raw salmon w/ rice), Gunkan scallop (raw scallop in a sweet mayo sauce, wrapped in seaweed), 'spicy ' tuna roll, and Shumai (shrimp dumplings). The food was good if I were to be a little picky I would mention there was a little too much water on my shumai plate, like the chef had pulled the dumplings from the boiling water bath and not let enough water drain, and so it settled on the plate. Second, someone needs to look with an editing eye at their sushi menu that is printed on paper and the menu that is laminated with photos. I wanted the 'spicy ' tuna roll, that was mentioned on the paper menu but not featured on the plastic one, my roll was not spicy. Also, the spelling on the Gunkan scallop changed to Kunkan on the laminated menu, which made finding it confusing. But, like I said, I 'm being picking and it didn 't take away from my overall experience. The service was good for a lunch service, they were busy and, as I heard the S.A. state to another table 'under staffed ', so my server seemed a touch on the frantic side and my check was dropped by the hostess. That being said my food was prompt and good, my water glass was always refilled, dirty dishes were removed right away, and I did not have to ask for my check. I was not in a hurry, but I could see that if I were, I would really appreciate it that the whole meal only took about 30 minutes. I also ordered tea service, and all together paid about $35 (including tip). They did offer a $10 lunch special that didn 't sound too bad, I just had something very specific in mind, so I ordered off the regular menu. So, it 's a go for lunch.
Amazing time!. I don't know who the long haired young lady was at the front, but she was amazing! I love Wasabi and we came to this location for my Mother's birthday. The young lady was very helpful and seemed to be the everything woman. She was our hostess, our bartender, server at times. She was polite. Kept bringing my boyfriend a beer with a cold glass every time. I guess our server was new, because he forgot quite a few things, never told us his name and rarely checked on us..she definitely made up for it. Aside from her spectacular service, the food was great! For dessert they gave us these AMAZING, TO DIE FOR green tea cheese cake balls with coconut and dipped in dark chocolate. Holy heaven. I don't know if they have these at every location, but if not go to this one just for this reason.
So so. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I got a Geisha and a DFG both were good, but I tired of them about half way through. The Nigiri was good, but the eel was definitely different than what I've had in other places. The staff was extremely nice, nice atmosphere, overall good experience.
Extensive cooked to order buffet menu. Special lunch time menu available too. Really love their sashimi! Super fresh and tasty!
We have been going here since the the opening day. Always good food.. Our 4 year old granddaughter loves it here. And has been going since she was able to join in the fun of eating here. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. If you want something but don't like a particular sauce no problem. Have it plain. Allergy tell them they make sure you are ok to eat the dish you fancy. We have never had a bad experience here. And always love are chats with the owners
