More issues with this place. 1. We went on Saturday evening and called ahead if they had a patio setting. Once we arrived there we sat down in the patio area. Unfortunately, the tables were so dirty, and trash was everywhere such as unfinished drinks, and paper trash. It looked like employees hang out during the break. 2. Corner where we were setting smelled like piss, so I had to move to the other side. 3. The server came and asked if we wanted drinks and we ordered a jumbo margarita cocktail. Unfortunately, it tasted so dull, no taste of alcohol. Our server told us this is how they make it. So we ordered 2 shots of tequila to make margaritas. 4. No water was provided. I had to ask our server to give us water after we had our food. She was like we were asking something too much. 5. The food was okay. Especially if you are very familiar with Mexican dishes, it was missing flavor and salt. At least a little bit of salt would be nice. Never going back

We used to love this place until tonight. When the worker offered to reheat our food that we picking up. Then we saw into the kitchen and they were eating our food out of our to go container. That is gross. We won’t be back.

The food and service were great. Prices were great. Atmosphere is nice. When my son started crying one of the waitresses bought a candy bar for him out of her pocket.

We were in town on some business and wanted to experience a Mexican restaurant. El Caporal restaurant is excellent!! We originally went to Mr. Pepe which is close to El Caporal Mexican Restaurant on May 5, 2024 for Cinco de Mayo, and it was jammed with an over 30 min wait. We then hit the GPS again and found this Gem! What a wonderful restaurant, with a great atmosphere! Prices were good, and the food was GREAT! We will definitely be back again!
