Hidden gem in Midlo! I?d say this dining experience was comparable to some Michelin restaurants I?ve been to in DC great cocktails, creative dishes, and interesting flavors with a nice intimate atmosphere. The menu we looked at online beforehand was slightly different than the one in the restaurant (I think it changes regularly), so just keep that in mind and be open to trying new dishes you won?t be disappointed!
It was my first time eating here. The food and festive drink were wonderful. The waitress did an awesome job. I had the French Toast with blueberry compote with a Poinsettia Mimosa. The hostess wasn't very welcoming. There was live entertainment which was a plus.
Midlothian Chef's Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite places to go when friends and family are visiting. The food is divine and the cocktails delicious. Went here recently for a date night. It was a mixed bag, but generally positive. Our waiter brought out some bread, which was delicious. The butter was very sweet. The menu said an additional serving would be $3, but we ordered it anyway. For our appetizer, we had the pork belly and the pork shrimp dumplings. The pork belly was fried, which was a first for me.
